Hindu teachers – newest targets of Islamist students across Bengal
Vidya dadati vinayam vinaya dadati paatrataam paatratva dhanamaapnoti dhanat dharmam tatatsukham – Education gives Humility; Humility gives Character; from character one gets wealth; from wealth one gets righteous (dharmam) life; from righteousness gets happiness.
The aforementioned chronicle happens to be the soul of Sanatana Hindu civilization that has been going on from time immemorial. The status of teacher or Guru happens to be principal both in the life of a pupil and Hindu civilization. Dharma, for this immense capacity, considers him/her as an epitome of the Almighty.
Guru Brahma Gurur Vishnu Guru Devo Maheshwaraha Guru Saakshat Para Brahma Tasmai Sree Gurave Namaha - Guru is verily the representative of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. He creates, sustains knowledge and destroys the weeds of ignorance. I salute such a Guru.
This has been the basis of the relation between a student and his/her teacher as per Hindu beliefs but time has really changed and only for the worse only or else mounting attacks on teachers can’t happen throughout Bengal. What is most striking, attackers in every such incident happen to be Islamists while teachers are Hindus.
Whether it’s Dhapdhapi High School or Tildanga High School at Farakka or Koitha High School at Nalhati, Birbhum – the scene is same in every area exemplifying the fast erosion of conventional values in the land of Vedas altogether. Surely – this is a grand contribution of empyrean Secularism as practiced in India these days.
What was the fault of revered school teacher of Tildanga High School at Farakka? The teacher of History, Madhusudan Das, Hindu by religion, ejected a female student from Class X, on July 31, 2012. Had it been with a Hindu student the situation would have been different. But the Muslim female student, in this case, insulted the aged teacher within the school premises; later on, her drunk elder brother, Mushtaqim Ansari, got into the school and trounced Madhusudan Babu.
Madhusudan Das, as a result, is ailing at the moment and not attending the school these days.
